NorkStil Akryl windows are a solution for people who do not accept any compromises. Very good thermal insulation parameters, and static profile of the NorskStil technology are all accompanied by unique finish of the window profiles. The structure, created out of a PVC and acrylic glass mix creates a set of completely new possibilities – aesthetics wise, as well as when it comes to the applied technology. Colored profile windows, using the acrylcolor system technology, offer the functional appearance of their silky-smooth, matte and non-porous surface. Fusion of both materials gives the profiles an exceptional strength and resistance towards scratches and dusts.
NorkStil windows blend a modern technological solution, Norwegian simplicity, reliability and functionality, with solid Polish work, also making this system quite affordable. The results? Modern, energy-efficient window systems, meeting the top standards, with thermal insulation coefficient for the whole window described by a value of Uw = 0.7W/sq. m K. Thanks to the technology which allows for glueing the panes inside the sash frame, NorskStil windows exhibit enhanced static parameters which make it possible to use elegant, large format glazing, even in the toughest external conditions.
NorskStil window profiles are characterized by harmonious proportions and slim and smooth finish of their surface. Acrylic, as a highly resistant material, maintains its color for many, many years, also in adverse weather conditions. High level of thermal insulation is provided by the six-chamber A-class profiles, with at least 2.8 mm thick external walls, and with 5 mm wide internal chambers. Thanks to the fact that acrylic finish is applied, the profiles are also heat resistant, and their temperature goes up slower than in case of the standard PVC solutions.
Steel, zinc-plated reinforcing elements, bended several times, with thickness of 1.5-2 millimeters, screwed along the profile, with spacing on avarage of 30 centimeters – this is the maximum spacing used. Thickness of the reinforcing components depends on the window size. Never is it smaller than 1.5 millimeters.
NorskStil windows may be fitted with conventional, rounded glazing beads.
The windows are fitted with a three-chambered EPDM, synthetic rubber or TPE seal system, along with a special purpose water threshold, solutions which altogether provide the user with an optimal level of tightness, weather-resistance and problem-free operation of the multi-point lock fittings located in the dry chamber.

Among the standard acrylic coatings, anthracite, dark brown and Alux DB 703 colors are also available.
Besides the standard colors, several other acrylic tones may be selected from the pallet.
Acrylcolor technology windows are created out of special profiles, with external acrylic glass layer. At the stage within which the window profiles are manufactured, liquid PVC and liquid acrylic glass are blended in a sustainable and inseparable way. Both materials have the same thermal expansion properties and thus, delamination of the window profile is not a risk factor here. Additional acrylic glass layer, on the outer side of the profile, makes the Acrylcolor windows significantly more durable in comparison with their traditional PVC counterparts. External surface of the acrylcolor windows is perfectly smooth, with elegant, satin appearance. This provided a sophisticated visual effect, making the windows look special. Even in cases when the window-work is going to be gradually replaced in stages, within a single building, the color differences, even after several years, are virtually unnoticeable. This is a great advantage of this material. Our experience is well grounded within that field – we have been awarded with RAL quality certificates for the acrylcolor profiles. The product also received a quality mark of the SKZ – Süddeutsches Kunststoffzentrum (South German Plastics Center).
Extra coating – Extra protection
Acrylic glass which is used to create the external coating is the most durable plastic material ever created. This material is being used to create aircraft canopies or submersible craft windows.
Thick acrylic glass layer is permanently blended with the white PCV underlay. It is easy to remove accidental scratches – a drop of water and several rubs with the cleanser is enough to get rid of them. Scratches that would disqualify the ready-made aluminum or wooden windows are not a problem here.
Durability of the Acrylcolor window system is guaranteed by the acrylic glass layer which reflects most of the sunlight. Thanks to the above, acrylcolor windows maintain their color for the whole period within which they are being used. Phenomenon in which the windows are heated up is virtually non-existent.
Acrylcolor windows are user-friendly. Perfectly smooth acrylcolor window surface minimizes the scope, within which dirt and contaminants stick to the frame. This means that thorough and tiring maintenance is a thing of the past.
Acrylcolor technology advantages
Colored profile windows, using the acrylcolor system technology, feature silky-smooth, matte and non-porous surface. Easiness of care
Acrylcolor profile windows are very comfortable to use. They are dirt-resistant, cleaning up is easy, and the process does not require any special substances.
Acrylic glass is an incredibly durable material. Since many years it has been extensively used by the automotive industry. This finish keeps its color even after many years of being exposed to the weather factors.
High reflex factor
Sunlight, in most part, is being reflected by the white surface of the underlay, placed under the acrylcolor layer that allows the infrared radiation to go through. Thanks to this solution, heating-up has been significantly minimized. Temperature differences, occurring as a result of heating up of white and dark window profiles, are surprisingly low.
